This kosher wine was released as a fitting close to our 10th anniversary celebrations, it is a blend of 50% Cabernet and 50% Merlot from the vineyards of Kerem ben Zimra, which was allowed to mature for over a year in the bottle before release.
Winemaking: This kosher wine was blended from special batches selected for their concentration of colour, taste and long ageing potential. The grapes came from four individual vineyards and were blended after secondary fermentation. The wines were then allowed to mature for one year in French oak barrels and then a further year in bottle before release.
Tasting Notes The kosher wine is a deep purple colour with a fresh fruity nose of berries, plums peppermint and black pepper, with hints of eucalyptus and cloves. On the palate the kosher wine is soft and velvety with full body but soft tannins and well-balanced acidity, this is a wine that was made with a good ageing potential and can be stored for about 8-10 years.
